Photo of the home of Gustave (Geo) York after he sold the house at the girls' camp that he had bought from the Tingey's. Vernon Ayre and Hattie Tingey Johnston lived here after her log cabin located just across from the Housey's Rapids Road on Doe Lake Rd was condemned. This house was located on property now owned by Grant Tingey, but this house is gone.
Leslie Ruttan's farm in Muskoka, Ryde Twp. Muskoka Rd. 6 on the way to Housey's Rapids on the west side of the road. House gone now. Property owned by Jim Rose. Les Ruttan was the son of Wm James Ruttan & Hannah Bertha Brooks.
