A community co-operative is a type of organization that many rural neighbourhoods have put in place to help develop ideas and projects that benefit its members and the community. The Ryde Community Co-operative was founded with one goal in mind.. a stronger community! We formed a co-operative because we believed in the principle of working together to be one voice and one community. By doing this we have received overwhelming support from not only our members and the local community, but from District social agencies and economic development organizations.

Have you ever lent your time and talent to a local event? What about offering neighbours a hand when they needed it most? If you have ever done this, you have been part of a co-operative effort.
